After years without reliable drinking water, three wards in Bharatpur now have gravity-fed supply lines — serving over 2,400 households and dramatically reducing waterborne illness.
The water system, funded by WaterAid Nepal, was designed with full community participation. WASH committees were trained in maintenance and tariff collection from the outset, ensuring the system will remain functional long after project closure.
