IRDC Nepal's girls' scholarship programme has reached a new milestone: 340 girls from Dalit, Tharu, and economically marginalised communities are now enrolled in secondary schools — the highest intake since the programme launched in 2008. Of girls who completed the scholarship cycle in 2023, 91% continued to higher education.
