IRDC Nepal's Community Health Volunteer (CHV) programme has expanded to cover 12 municipalities across Chitwan and Nawalparasi, with 480 trained volunteers now active in the field.
Institutional delivery rates in programme areas have risen from 38% to 82% since the programme launched.
