Education Programme

Education is central to IRDC Nepal mission. We work to reduce dropout rates, improve learning outcomes, and build the capacity of schools and teachers in marginalised communities across Nepal.

Key Activities

• Construction and renovation of school buildings and WASH facilities
• Teacher training and capacity building
• Scholarship and stipend programmes for girls and Dalit children
• Non-formal and adult literacy classes for women
• Early childhood development (ECD) centre support

Impact

We have supported over 300 schools and 50,000 students across our operational districts. Girls enrolment and retention rates have improved significantly in targeted areas.
